Hi, You can check the microsoft product support and lifecycle policy for this:. SBS is a little different because it has not a data for complete SBS but it is determined per individual product: o for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010 this is main stream support ends january 2015 and extended support ends january 2020. With the addition that you need to keep updating Service Packs because the support on Service packs will end 24 months after the next service pack release Regards Ronny - Visit my or follow me on. Sorry - your follow-up comment was posted whilst I was on holiday. You can still buy SBS2011 (just about) and that will be the cheapest way to buy both Windows Server and Exchange server. How many users do you have? Microsoft have decided that the future is Cloud and thus SBS Essentials which is limited to 25 users max, compared to SBS2011 which is limited to 75 users max, doesn't come with Exchange and they therefore suggest buying into Office 365 which is a minimum cost of £2.60 / $3 per user per month and works very well (it is Microsoft's Hosted Exchange 2013 solution).
If you are going to buy anything other than SBS 2011, buy the latest software to protect your investment - so Server 2012 / Exchange 2013.
